APC Deputy Governorship Candidate Urges Unity, Discipline and Peaceful Politics Ahead of 2027

The Go For Tinubu Group has formally conferred the title of Grand Patron on Adamawa APC deputy governorship candidate, Kamale, in a move the group says is designed to strengthen its grassroots structures across the state.
Presenting the letter of appointment, the state chairman, Shettima, described Kamale as a respected political figure whose loyalty, humility and sustained commitment to community development had earned him recognition within the organisation.
He explained that the decision followed extensive deliberations by the State Executive Council, which weighed Kamale’s contributions to party development, youth empowerment and community service before settling on him for the honour. According to Shettima, the group is deliberately courting seasoned political leaders who can offer mentorship, institutional guidance and strategic support as it expands its footprint across Adamawa State.
Shettima used the occasion to charge the group’s leadership to place unity above personal interest, steer clear of avoidable political friction, and conduct their affairs with discipline and mutual respect.
Responding, Kamale embraced the appointment and stressed that internal cohesion, constructive engagement and peaceful political participation remain central to the organisation’s objectives as the state moves toward the 2027 elections. He called on members to carry the message of peace, unity and development to communities across Adamawa, underlining the importance of inclusive political participation and sustained public awareness.
The visit closed with prayers for the organisation, for peaceful elections, and for continued stability and development across Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.
Kamale currently serves as running mate to APC governorship candidate Ahmed Tijjani Galadima, a pairing reaffirmed by recent reports from the party’s September 2026 campaign launch.
