The Adamawa State Police public Relations Officer SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, ANIPR has taken to his official Facebook page and announced that, the Adamawa State Police Command has recorded a significant breakthrough in its intensified war against crime, following a massive joint security operation that led to the arrest of no fewer than seventy-three suspected criminals in Mubi and surrounding communities.
The daring operation, executed in collaboration with sister security agencies, came on the heels of mounting complaints from residents and actionable intelligence on the activities of criminal gangs terrorising identified black spots and notorious hideouts within the area.
Security operatives, acting swiftly on the intelligence, stormed several flashpoints in coordinated raids, successfully dismantling criminal enclaves and dislodging suspected hoodlums believed to be involved in a string of criminal activities ranging from drug-related offences, house-to-house robbery, violent attacks, and other forms of organised crime.
The operation has since restored renewed confidence among residents, many of whom had expressed fears over rising insecurity in parts of Mubi metropolis and adjoining areas.
Speaking on the development, the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, 𝐂𝐏 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐫 𝐔𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧, fdc, reaffirmed the Command’s uncompromising resolve to rid the state of criminal elements and guarantee the protection of lives and property.

“The Command remains fully committed to sustaining aggressive operations against all forms of criminality across the state. We urge members of the public to continue cooperating with security agencies by providing useful and timely information,” the CP stated.
Meanwhile, all arrested suspects are currently undergoing thorough profiling, screening, and investigation. The Police Command assured that anyone found culpable would be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
The latest operation is being seen as another bold step by the Adamawa State Police Command towards reclaiming public spaces from criminal networks and strengthening security across the state.
