“May the Light, Mercy and Teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Guide Our Hearts and Strengthen Our Nation”
Alhaji Sadiq Mohammed, Walin Ganye, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt best wishes to Muslim faithful across Ganye Chiefdom, Adamawa State, Nigeria and beyond as they commemorate Maulud, the birth and noble life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a goodwill message, Walin Ganye urged the Muslim Ummah to use the occasion not merely as a moment of celebration, but as an opportunity for deep reflection on the Prophet’s exemplary life, message of peace, compassion, tolerance, justice and love for humanity.
He called on Muslims to renew their commitment to the values exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly peaceful coexistence, forgiveness, generosity, humility and concern for the less privileged.
According to him, the significance of Maulud transcends celebration, as it provides an important opportunity for believers to reflect on the Prophet’s teachings and their relevance to contemporary society.
“May this blessed occasion bring peace to our homes, unity to our communities, prosperity to our nation and renewed faith to the hearts of the Muslim Ummah.”
Walin Ganye further prayed for peace, stability and progress in Adamawa State and Nigeria, urging citizens to continue to embrace mutual respect and peaceful coexistence irrespective of ethnic, religious or political differences.
He also prayed for divine guidance and protection for traditional rulers, political leaders, religious leaders and all Nigerians, while asking Allah to grant the country leaders with wisdom, courage and the commitment to serve humanity.
“On this auspicious occasion of Maulud, I extend my sincere greetings and best wishes to our Muslim brothers and sisters. May the blessings of Allah continue to abide with you and your families. May the noble example of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) inspire us to build a society founded on peace, justice, compassion and unity,” he said.
As Muslims mark the sacred occasion, Walin Ganye wishes the entire Muslim Ummah a peaceful, blessed and spiritually rewarding Maulud celebration.
