GANYE — The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the International Peace Commission, Alhaji Sadiq Mohammed Walin Ganye, has congratulated His Highness, Alhaji Umaru Adamu Sanda, the Gangwari of Ganye, on his well-deserved appointment as Chancellor of Taraba State University.
Walin Ganye described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of the Gangwari’s distinguished traditional leadership, wisdom, experience and enduring contributions to the peace, unity and development of his people and society at large.
He said the appointment is not only a personal honour to His Highness Alhaji Umaru Adamu Sanda but also a source of immense pride to Ganye Chiefdom, which he leads as its traditional ruler.
According to Walin Ganye, the elevation of the Gangwari to the prestigious position of Chancellor further demonstrates the confidence reposed in his wisdom, maturity, intellectual disposition and capacity to provide exemplary leadership beyond the traditional institution.
