Delivering Walin Ganye’s goodwill message, Dr. Gidado paid glowing tribute to the APC stalwart’s exceptional dedication to educational development across the Ganye Chiefdom.
According to him, Alhaji Sadiq Mohammed Walin Ganye has consistently financed, monitored and sustained the Atiku Abubakar Model Islamiya Centre in Ganye for more than two decades, describing the institution as a remarkable success story among four similar centres previously established across Ganye Chiefdom.

He offered special congratulations to the 52 beneficiaries of the Walin Ganye Excellence Scholarship 2026, describing the award as recognition of merit and a powerful motivation for other students to strive for excellence.

“I congratulate the 52 students who have won the Walin Ganye Excellence Scholarship 2026. Your achievement is evidence that dedication and perseverance always produce rewarding results.”

Dr. Gidado also reserved special commendation for the teachers, acknowledging that the students’ remarkable achievements reflected years of dedication, sacrifice and quality mentorship.
He further appreciated parents for investing in their children’s education and urged them to continue nurturing discipline, knowledge and character at home, stressing that the future of every community depends on the quality of its younger generation.
Calling on all stakeholders to sustain the spirit of cooperation demonstrated during the event, he reminded participants that collective responsibility remains the key to building stronger communities and producing future leaders.
The scholarship programme has once again highlighted Walin Ganye’s unwavering philosophy that education is not merely an investment in individuals but an investment in the future of society itself.

Beyond scholarships, the respected philanthropist has over the years become synonymous with humanitarian interventions, youth empowerment, educational support, community development and peace advocacy. His humanitarian footprint continues to touch thousands of lives across Ganye Chiefdom and beyond, earning him admiration from people of different political parties, religions and ethnic backgrounds.
