GRIEF IN GANYE: Walin Ganye Leads High-Powered Delegation to Console Family of Late Baba Emmanuel Diraso

In a remarkable demonstration of compassion, unity, and respect for a life well lived, the revered elder statesman, political oracle of Adamawa State, and Chairman, Board of Trustees of the International Peace Commission, Alhaji Sadiq Mohammed Walin Ganye, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Baba Emmanuel Diraso, describing his passing as a painful loss not only to his immediate family but to the entire Ganye Chiefdom and beyond.
Representing Walin Ganye during the condolence visit, a high-powered delegation of family members and close associates, led by Alhaji Gidado Mohammed and supported by Barrister Yusuf Jangwe, paid a solemn visit to the bereaved family to convey Walin Ganye’s message of sympathy, comfort, and unwavering solidarity.


The delegation featured an array of prominent personalities, including Hon. Misa Musa, Member representing Ganye Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Sani Yahya, Hon. Charles W. Bansi, Hon. Emmanuel Stephen Jangiri, Alhaji Umar Gidado, alongside several distinguished community leaders, political associates, and well-wishers.
Speaking during the visit, the delegation conveyed Walin Ganye’s deep sadness over the demise of Baba Emmanuel Diraso, describing him as a respected elder whose wisdom, humility, and commitment to peace and community development earned him admiration across generations.
According to Walin Ganye, the late Baba Diraso lived a life of honour, integrity, and selfless service, leaving behind an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire future generations. He noted that while death is an inevitable reality, the departure of individuals whose lives positively impacted society leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those they served.
Walin Ganye prayed fervently for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and asked Almighty God to forgive his shortcomings, reward his good deeds, and grant him eternal rest. He also prayed for divine strength, patience, and fortitude for the bereaved family to bear the painful loss with courage and unwavering faith.
He further urged members of the family to remain united, uphold the noble values for which the late patriarch was known, and find comfort in the lasting memories of his exemplary life and service to humanity.
