PRESS RELEASE AB HASKE FOUNDATION CALLS FOR PEACE, UNITY, AND RESPECT FOR DEMOCRATIC VALUES

Gentlemen of the Press, distinguished guests, respected leaders, members, volunteers, supporters of the Foundation, ladies and gentlemen, good evening.
On behalf of the Founder, Co-Founder, and the entire leadership of the AB Haske Foundation, we warmly welcome you all to this important press conference and sincerely appreciate your presence.
As part of the core mandate and guiding principles of the AB Haske Foundation, peace building, community harmony, and the promotion of mutual understanding remain at the heart of our mission. Today, we once again reaffirm our unwavering commitment to sustaining peace, promoting unity, and encouraging lawful conduct across our communities and beyond.
At this critical moment in our democratic journey, we call on all stakeholders, political actors, youths, supporters, and members of the public to remain calm, law-abiding, and committed to the principles of democracy and the rule of law. Regardless of ethnic, religious, or political differences, we must continue to embrace tolerance, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence as the pillars of a progressive society.
The AB Haske Foundation strongly believes that no meaningful development can thrive in an atmosphere of violence, division, or instability. Peace, unity, harmony, and social stability remain the bedrock upon which sustainable growth and national prosperity are built. As the popular saying rightly goes: “No Peace, No Progress, No Prosperity.”
In light of this, we categorically reject violence, political thuggery, hate speech, and every form of actions capable of threatening the peace and democratic stability of our communities. We urge our youths not to allow themselves to be used as instruments of violence or destruction by desperate elements seeking to undermine the democratic process.
The Foundation remains a strong advocate of good governance, responsible leadership, justice, accountability, and people-oriented policies that will foster sustainable and integrated development for all citizens.
Furthermore, we must collectively resist every attempt to scuttle our hard-earned democracy. Nigeria’s democratic system was built through sacrifice, perseverance, and the collective hopes of millions of citizens. It is therefore our collective responsibility to protect and strengthen it through peaceful engagement, civic responsibility, and constructive participation.
We call on community leaders, religious leaders, traditional institutions, security agencies, civil society organizations, and all well-meaning citizens to continue working together in the interest of peace, unity, and national development.
The AB Haske Foundation remains fully committed to initiatives and partnerships that promote peace, youth empowerment, social cohesion, and community development.
Together, let us build a society where peace reigns, justice prevails, and development flourishes for the benefit of present and future generations.
