Adamawa NDC Boss Tasks OK Movement, Others On Party Campaign & Electoral Victory.

The Adamawa State Chairman of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Ibrahim E. Bebetu has said that the success of the Presidential and National Assembly Polls will largely depend on the effective conduct and execution of a workable campaign strategy by the party in the 2027 general elections.
Receiving in audience members of the OK Movement and other support groups of the Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso Presidential ambition in the wake of the commencement of the Presidential and National Assembly Campaign, the party Boss described the visit to the secretariat as timely considering the enormous task before the party to ensure electoral preparation and victory.


He said that not long before now, the party would be holding extraordinary sessions with all support groups, critical stakeholders, contesting candidates and Supporters to fashion out modalities that will promote synergy among various interest groups and the party to actualize the Obi/Kwankwaso presidential aspiration.
He advised all the support groups to streamline their operations and to come under single canopy for the purpose of realizing administrative convenience, organization, operations and electoral victory  in the forthcoming general elections.
He said that the present occupation and concerns of the Party is to ensure proper coordination of presidential and national Assembly campaign activities, electoral victory for its Candidates and the branding and marketing of its Presidential and National Assembly candidates adding that the doors of the party will remain wide open to receive support groups and individuals to achieve its objectives.


Earlier,  the state coordinator of the OK Movement, Comrade Joseph Maigari who was ably represented by his Deputy, Rilwan Haruna Lawan said they were at the secretariat of the party to partner with the party and to be seen as a dependable Ally in the 2027 electoral process, emphasizing that the support groups expects nothing short of electoral victory at the 2027 polls.
Other support groups present at the event include, the Grassroots Alliance Movement, the OK 27 Global and the Grassroots Mobilization Movement among others.
Highlights of the occasion included, goodwill messages from other support groups, launching of the OK presidential flex Campaign Banner and strategic meetings.
Meanwhile, the party in a statement has indicated that it will no longer condone uncoordinated activities of presumed support groups as witnessed in the previous elections among other Party Structures, advising that all duly recognized support groups must identify with the party to enhance collaboration and promote synergy among interest groups and the Adamawa population.
The statement further appreciates the political maturity of the Adamawa people and it’s significant role in northern politics, emphasizing that the party will not squander the goodwill of Adamawa Electorates and urged the population to watch the NDC in the forthcoming 2027 elections.


According to the statement, the party has enough political space to accommodate all classes of people and appealed for decorum and respect for internal democracy among Contestants and party membership, calling on all aggrieved members to explore the limitless opportunities provided by the Party for reconciliation.
It added that the party will not only continue to sustain the mutual respect between the Adamawa voting population and the NDC but will encourage Nigerians to ensure that every vote counts in the 2027 General elections adding that the party will remain highly receptive to Party supporters with good intentions.
