“Your Mouth Smells, You Have Body Odour!” – Senator Ekwunife Bombs Gov. Soludo In Explosive Video
Anambra State politics has been thrown into turmoil as fiery All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate, Senator Uche Ekwunife, launched a scathing, no-holds-barred attack on Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, dragging the political rivalry to a deeply personal level.
In a viral video that has set social media ablaze, Ekwunife furiously dismissed Soludo’s claims that her doctorate degree was obtained from an unaccredited U.S. institution, daring him to take her to court.
“Go to court if you claim my PhD certificate is fake. Go to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, to verify my master’s degree and to the University of Calabar for my first degree. I did both before obtaining my PhD,” she thundered.
The senator didn’t stop at defending her academic qualifications. She struck at the very heart of Soludo’s academic pride, branding his celebrated professorship as “a mere departmental award, not a globally recognized title.”
“The illiterate professor who calls himself governor of Anambra should leave me alone. Soludo contested for governor twice before Willie Obiano imposed him on Ndi Anambra,” she declared, raising the stakes in the heated political face-off.
Turning her guns on governance, Ekwunife accused Soludo of plunging the state into insecurity and fear:
“All the bushes in Anambra State are full of corpses. Anambra was once a peaceful state where people visited every Thursday, but today, people are running away. You have failed woefully as governor.”
But the most shocking part of her tirade was yet to come. Switching into Igbo, Ekwunife unleashed a string of personal insults that have stunned political observers:
“Have they not told you that your mouth smells? You are the dirtiest governor in Africa. You smell, your armpits smell. Tell your wife to buy you deodorant so you can be like other men. When you open your mouth to speak, the odour is so stinking and embarrassing for a governor.”
The fiery remarks have divided public opinion. While some Nigerians condemned the descent into personal insults, others hailed Ekwunife’s fearless courage against what they see as Soludo’s arrogance and elitism.
What is certain is that the Anambra political battlefield has been turned into a theatre of war—raw, personal, and unforgettable.
