The candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) representing Ganye,Jada,Toungo and Mayo-belwa federal constituency, and the former majority leader of Adamawa state House of Assembly, Hon Hammantukur Yettisuri has called on party supporters and all well wishers to remain calm and patriotic in their current approach to the recent electoral error committed by INEC in the display of list of eligible candidates for the 2023 general elections in the state.
Speaking to Pioneer in an interview session, the politician said that the call has become highly imperative due to the growing tension over his replacement with a different candidate, emphasizing that he is working with his party leadership and his lawyers to correct the anormally.
He assured his party supporters that he still remains the candidate of the Party in the forthcoming elections, emphasizing that as a party noted for justice and respect for internal democracy, it will not allow such electoral error to stain its reputation.
According to him, there’s no need for apprehensions as everything is under control.
Hon Hammantukur is the present member representing Jada, Mbulo constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly and a shrewd politician known for his principles and politics of accommodation.
