Bansi Represents Walin Ganye at Strategic APC Stakeholders’ Meeting in Ganye

In a decisive move to consolidate party strength and deepen unity, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ganye Local Government Area of Adamawa State convened a high-level Strategic Stakeholders’ Meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2026, at the Nicolas Barre Hall.

Representing the highly respected elder statesman, Alhaji Sadiq Mohammed, popularly known as Walin Ganye, was Hon. Chief Charles Wukumfakeni Bansi, former Sole Administrator of Gangdu Development Area. His presence at the crucial gathering underscored not only representation, but the enduring political weight and far-reaching influence of Walin Ganye within the APC structure in Adamawa State.
The meeting, which attracted key APC stalwarts and grassroots mobilisers across Ganye Chiefdom, was marked by enthusiastic participation, thoughtful deliberations, and a shared resolve to reposition the party for greater dominance. Stakeholders engaged in robust discussions focused on strengthening internal cohesion, expanding membership, and consolidating APC’s growing foothold in the area.
Central to the deliberations was the directive by the Governor of Adamawa State, urging both newly defected members from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and longstanding APC loyalists across the 21 local government areas to return to their constituencies, foster unity, and work collectively as one political family.
At the heart of this renewed political momentum stands Walin Ganye—a towering figure whose legacy of leadership, generosity, and strategic foresight continues to shape the direction of the APC in the state. Widely regarded as a pillar of stability and a master mobiliser, he has consistently nurtured the party, guiding it from its formative stages to its current position of strength and relevance.
Hon. Chief Bansi, a devoted protégé of Walin Ganye, embodies the discipline, loyalty, and political depth instilled in him over decades of close mentorship. As a seasoned figure with a strong grounding in political science and grassroots engagement, Bansi continues to project the ideals and vision of his mentor, reinforcing the values that have sustained the APC’s steady growth in Ganye.
Observers note that the influence of Walin Ganye transcends conventional politics, positioning him as a unifying force and a rallying point for party faithful. His unwavering commitment to inclusivity and development has earned him widespread respect, making him an indispensable force in the evolving political landscape of Adamawa State.
As the APC in Ganye charts a renewed course anchored on unity, strategy, and expansion, the message from the stakeholders’ meeting was clear: with leaders like Walin Ganye providing guidance and protégés like Bansi driving execution, the party’s trajectory from strength to strength remains firmly assured.
