President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday lit up Adamawa State with a high-impact official visit that blended infrastructure delivery, security reassurance, and a renewed call for national unity. The President commissioned a series of landmark projects, applauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his transformational leadership, and paid a stirring tribute to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, proudly describing him as a “son of the soil” whose courage is reshaping Nigeria’s security landscape.
Speaking in Yola, President Tinubu underscored the power of cooperation between the Federal Government and states, insisting that development thrives where leaders invest in people and work in unity.
“Your statement is clear: we work together for today, tomorrow, and the day after—investing in the people and ensuring that, as a nation, we see ourselves as one happy family united by tremendous achievements,” the President declared.
The President commissioned a suite of people-centred and economy-boosting projects spanning infrastructure, education, justice, and public administration—initiatives designed to unlock growth, ease mobility, strengthen institutions, and improve the quality of life for citizens. He described the projects as practical expressions of his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, anchored on inclusion, productivity, and shared prosperity.
President Tinubu reserved glowing praise for Governor Fintiri, commending his discipline, foresight, and results-driven approach. He noted that Adamawa’s visible transformation—seen in roads, schools, and public facilities—reflects leadership focused on impact rather than ceremony.
“You met Adamawa, and you are leaving it far better,” Tinubu said, affirming that the state’s progress is proof of what purposeful governance can achieve.

“Peace and progress go together. The courage and integrity of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu are helping to secure our future,” the President added.
President Tinubu also spoke on economic inclusion, stressing microfinance and small-business support as engines of grassroots growth. He reaffirmed commitment to empowering women and youth, expanding opportunity, and deepening unity across communities as the surest path to sustainable prosperity.
