The Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske Mobilisation Forum on Sunday, February 1, 2026, took its sweeping inaugural campaign to Mayo-Belwa Local Government Area in a colourful, electrifying, and widely attended ceremony that underscored the growing political momentum behind the Haske movement across Adamawa State.

The inauguration team, led by the State Coordinator, Alhaji Zakiru Barade, arrived Mayo-Belwa in the evening to a warm reception from party faithful and supporters. Proceedings commenced solemnly with inter-faith prayers—first led by a Christian cleric, followed by Muslim prayers—symbolising unity, tolerance, and inclusiveness, values strongly associated with the Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske political vision.

The Public Relations Officer of the Mayo-Belwa chapter formally introduced members of the high table before announcing His Excellency Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske, who was ably represented by Hon. Chief Charles W. Bansi, Chairman of the Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske Foundation. The mere mention of Haske’s name sent the crowd into deafening chants, as music filled the air and supporters erupted in spontaneous celebration.

Welcoming the delegation, the Mayo-Belwa Coordinator of the Mobilisation Forum, Hon. Danladi, described Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske as a man of uncommon generosity and uncommon commitment to development. He noted that Haske’s humanitarian reach cuts across religious, ethnic, and political lines, citing his consistent sponsorship of both Christian and Muslim pilgrims and his unwavering support for the less privileged. He urged party faithful and residents to rally behind Haske’s political ambition for the collective good of the state.
Adding intellectual weight and historical depth to the occasion, Hon. Ahmadu Ali Tola, Media Consultant to the Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske Foundation International, delivered a compelling address that resonated deeply with the audience.

Describing himself as Haske’s image maker, Tola noted that not a single day passes without projecting the Haske philosophy and legacy to the public. He recalled the remarkable humanitarian tradition of the Haske dynasty, narrating how Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske’s grandfather once directed his commercial vehicles to transport students free of charge across Adamawa State. According to Tola, this enduring culture of service continues today through Haske’s sustained support for education, religious harmony, and social welfare.
Former Chairman of Mayo-Belwa and State Linkman of the Haske Campaign Council, Hon. Mohammed Bako, charged the newly inaugurated executives to remain honest, diligent, and committed to grassroots mobilisation. He described the Haske movement as divinely favoured, asserting that Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske remains “the chosen one” for the task ahead.

In a similar vein, Dr. Yuguda commended the organisational ingenuity of Alhaji Zakiru Barade, praising his strategic leadership in strengthening the mobilisation forum statewide. He prayed for divine success for Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske, expressing confidence that the movement would soon gather to celebrate electoral victory.
The Women Leader of the Mayo-Belwa chapter also rallied women across the local government to fully support Haske’s political ambition, describing it as a pathway to inclusive governance and gender-responsive leadership.
Speaking passionately, Ibrahim Bansi, Chairman of the Tricycle Operators Association, Ganye Chapter, warned against divisive politics in the Southern Zone. He called on residents to reject religious and sectional sentiments, insisting that the time had come for Southern Adamawa to unite behind Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske’s governorship aspiration.
The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by Judge Sule, who admonished the new executives to uphold the sanctity of their offices with integrity and dedication.
The atmosphere reached a crescendo when Southern Women Ambassador, Hon. Hajara, mounted the podium. Her appearance triggered renewed chants and energetic dancing. She openly praised Hon. Charles W. Bansi for his loyalty, humility, and pioneering leadership as Chairman of the Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske Foundation. She also lauded Alhaji Zakiru Barade for his sacrifices and relentless commitment to translating Haske’s vision into reality. Calling on women and executives alike, she urged selfless support for Haske’s ambition.
Appointment letters were thereafter presented to the newly inaugurated Mayo-Belwa executives, turning the event into a carnival-like celebration as passers-by and residents thronged the venue to witness the historic occasion.

Addressing the crowd, State Coordinator Alhaji Zakiru Barade was welcomed with roaring applause and Haske’s signature music. He explained that following the successful inauguration of state executives, it became imperative to replicate the structure at the local government level. He described Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske as a man of integrity and action, pledging that sacrifices made today would soon yield success.
Representing Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske, Hon. Chief Charles W. Bansi delivered a rousing speech that transformed the venue into a sea of dancing supporters. He praised the Haske dynasty, commended Zakiru Barade’s leadership, and called on youths to take ownership of the movement. Bansi reminded the audience of Haske’s massive humanitarian interventions during the COVID-19 pandemic and described him as a genuine employer of labour who seeks nothing but grassroots empowerment.
The unprecedented reception accorded the Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske Mobilisation Forum in Mayo-Belwa marked yet another milestone in what observers describe as a fast-growing political movement poised to reshape Adamawa State’s political landscape.

The event also witnessed the notable presence of Mrs. Magdalene Joshua, the State women leader of the Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske mobilisation forum and Alhaji Yerima Dende, a young but highly committed supporter of Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske, whose dedication to the movement drew admiration from attendees. Described by speakers as a dependable foot soldier of the Haske project, Alhaji Yerima Dende was praised for consistently setting aside personal engagements to mobilise, organise, and stand firmly with the movement wherever it goes. His presence in Mayo-Belwa further reinforced the growing wave of youthful enthusiasm and sacrifice propelling the Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske Mobilisation Forum across the state.
