— Hall Erupts in Chants as APC Base Solidifies Ahead of Political Battle
Demsa Local Government Area on Saturday the 31st of January 2026, became the latest political theatre to witness the surging momentum of the Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske Mobilisation Forum, as the state leadership of the movement, led by its indefatigable State Coordinator, Alhaji Zakiru Barade, stormed the area for the inauguration of newly elected executives.

Fresh from a successful outing in Numan, the Haske train arrived Demsa peacefully but powerfully, receiving a rousing welcome from party faithfuls, youths, women groups and stakeholders who thronged the venue in large numbers despite the community being in a period of mourning.
Welcoming the inauguration committee, the Demsa Local Government Coordinator described the occasion as both historic and emotional. On a somber note, he announced the loss of a party member, observing a moment of reflection before switching gears to praise Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske for his uncommon love for Demsa people.

“Haske’s love for Demsa is not mere words,” he declared. “He went further to establish one of his private companies here, creating opportunities and hope for our people.”
He passionately urged youths and women to rally behind Haske’s political ambition, describing it as a collective project for a better future.
The APC Chairman of Demsa Local Government, represented by a ward chairman, charged the newly inaugurated executives to remain loyal, hardworking and disciplined, reminding them that the task ahead requires sacrifice and unwavering commitment to party ideals.
‘HASKE! HASKE!!’ — HALL ERUPTS
The atmosphere reached a crescendo during the introduction of dignitaries on the high table. When Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske was announced—ably represented by Hon. Chief Charles W. Bansi—the hall erupted into thunderous chants of “Haske! Haske!! Haske!!!”, shaking the venue and reaffirming his growing popularity at the grassroots.
The inauguration proper followed, with the new executives formally presented with their appointment letters by members of the high table amid cheers and applause.

In his keynote address, Alhaji Zakiru Barade delivered a speech that blended emotion, confidence and political firepower. Beaming with satisfaction, he declared:
“Today, I am one of the happiest men alive. The faces I see holding these appointment letters are not accidental leaders—they are worthy soldiers of this movement.”
He condoled with families who lost loved ones, speaking on behalf of Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske, and urged the newly inaugurated executives to remain faithful and focused, assuring them that loyalty would never go unrewarded.
Barade also issued a strong mobilization call, urging those present to take the Haske message back to their wards and communities, and to encourage more people to join the APC.

Representing Haske, Hon. Chief Charles W. Bansi called for a minute of silence in honor of the departed party members and offered prayers for the repose of their souls.
In a powerful address that drew nods across the hall, Bansi declared:
“Abdulrahaman Bashir Haske has already made it in life. He is not in politics to enrich himself. He is here to change the narrative and give meaning to leadership.”
He urged the new executives and APC stakeholders to stand firmly behind Haske’s political ambition, describing it as a generational opportunity to rewrite the political story of the area.

Despite the mourning period, the venue was packed with energetic youths who openly identified with the Haske project. The event was further electrified by Hon. Johna John, a two-time councillor and journalist, whose witty jokes and sharp humor kept the hall roaring with laughter, adding colour and vibrancy to the gathering.
In all, the Demsa inauguration was not just a ceremony—it was a loud political statement. One message rang clear: the Haske movement is alive, growing, and firmly rooted at the grassroots.
