The unstoppable political wave of the Abdulrahman Bashir Haske Mobilisation Forum surged from Sheleng Local Government into Lamurde on Friday the 30th January, 2026, where the inauguration of the local government executives turned into a carnival of solidarity, thunderous chants and renewed political resolve.
Led by the State Coordinator, Alhaji Zakiru Barade, the mobilisation train arrived Lamurde to a rousing welcome as party faithful, youths and women flooded the venue, eager to witness what many described as a historic political convergence.

The ceremony opened with prayers offered by clerics from both Islamic and Christian faiths, symbolising unity and shared purpose. This was followed by the introduction of dignitaries at the high table, each name drawing resounding applause from a packed and visibly energized hall.
Delivering the first address, Hon. Mavin Bedan, Lamurde Local Government Coordinator of the Abdulrahman Bashir Haske Campaign Council and former Majority Leader of the Lamurde Legislative Council, declared with confidence that Lamurde would “deliver Haske’s political ambition.” He described the Haske movement as a liberation platform for the downtrodden and a rallying point for the marginalised.

“This is a movement of hope and justice,” Bedan said, calling on youths to rise and stand firmly behind Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, whom he described as a leader of vision and compassion.
Echoing this stance, the Lamurde Mobilisation Coordinator, Hon. Bello Umar, reaffirmed that the people of Lamurde were solidly behind Haske, assuring that all necessary political structures were already in motion to guarantee success.
The APC Secretary in Lamurde Local Government, Hon. Pwamadadi, commended the leadership of the Haske Mobilisation Forum, describing it as a critical grassroots engine driving the popularity of the APC among the masses. He urged party faithful—young and old—to intensify mobilisation efforts and extend the party’s reach across communities. He concluded by requesting that Lamurde’s message of love and loyalty be conveyed to His Excellency, Abdulrahman Bashir Haske.

Women leaders electrified the hall when one of the newly inaugurated APC women executives broke into chants of “Haske! Haske!!” She boldly declared that all women in Lamurde stood firmly behind Haske and offered prayers for his victory in the party primaries.
The presentation of appointment letters to the newly inaugurated executives by selected members of the high table further heightened the excitement. The hall reverberated with cheers, laughter and celebration as each executive received their mandate.
The atmosphere reached a crescendo when Alhaji Zakiru Barade mounted the podium. Speaking on behalf of Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, he extended heartfelt condolences to families who lost loved ones during a recent violent conflict in the area and prayed for the repose of their souls. He then charged the new executives to aggressively mobilise residents to participate in the ongoing APC e-registration exercise, describing it as the surest pathway to strengthening Haske’s political ambition.

Representing Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, the Chairman of the AB Haske Foundation, Hon. Charles W. Bansi, brought the hall alive with humour and warmth. In a light-hearted moment that sent the audience into laughter, Bansi jokingly told the people of Lamurde that the Gangwari Ganye had instructed them to welcome him with a full pot of the local traditional beer, Pwakeude, and three big pigs.

After the laughter subsided, Hon. Bansi struck a serious note, describing Abdulrahman Bashir Haske as a detribalised leader and compassionate human being committed to unity, development and youth empowerment. He urged young people to rally behind Haske, stressing that “Haske’s political project is a project for the youths.”
Also present at the high table was Alhaji Yerima Dende, an executive of the AB Haske Foundation, widely acknowledged for his unwavering support for the Haske movement in all ramifications.
As the curtains fell on the event, one message stood unmistakably clear: Lamurde is mobilised, energised and firmly aligned with the Abdulrahman Bashir Haske movement, as the Haske political train gathers unstoppable momentum across the state.
