The Abdulrahman Bashir Haske Mobilisation Forum on Thursday extended its sweeping statewide inauguration to Sheleng Local Government, recording a massive show of strength and loyalty from members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The event followed the successful inauguration of the Guyuk Local Government executives on January 28, 2026, after which the inauguration committee, led by the State Coordinator, Alhaji Zakiru Barade (Zakiru), moved to Sheleng to sustain the growing momentum of the movement.

Party faithful turned out en masse, joined by residents from across political and social divides, many of whom thronged the venue out of admiration for Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, eager to witness firsthand the rising political force gathering across the state.
In his welcome address, the Sheleng Local Government Coordinator of the Haske Mobilisation Forum, Ibrahim Talo, delivered glowing tributes to Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, describing him as a patriotic, generous, and selfless leader whose commitment to the masses transcends ethnic, religious, and social boundaries. Talo also praised the courage and organisational strength of Alhaji Zakiru Barade, whom he described as “the backbone and driving force of the movement.”

He charged the newly inaugurated executives to immediately hit the ground running by mobilising grassroots participation in the ongoing APC e-registration exercise, stressing that mass registration is key to strengthening the party and the Haske political vision.
Adding his voice, APC stalwart and major stakeholder, Ibrahim Yerima Isa, lauded Abdulrahman Bashir Haske for his candour, integrity, and consistency, noting that the APC has found in him “an aspirant of rare timber and calibre—a man whose words align with his actions.” He urged the people to rally behind Haske’s ambition, saying his leadership would redefine governance and development in the state.
The high point of the ceremony was the formal presentation of appointment letters to the newly inaugurated executives, carried out by respected APC stakeholders amid applause and renewed commitment.
In a rousing and widely applauded address, State Coordinator Alhaji Zakiru Barade charged the executives to work boldly, selflessly, and with unwavering honesty in actualising the mission and vision of the Haske Mobilisation Forum. He stressed that genuine love and support for Abdulrahman Bashir Haske must be demonstrated through active mobilisation and aggressive participation in the ongoing e-registration.

“If you truly believe in Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, then you must take the message to the people and ensure they register. This movement is about structure, numbers, and sincerity,” Zakiru declared.
Speaking on behalf of Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, Hon. Charles W. Bansi, Chairman of the AB Haske Foundation, made a passionate appeal to youths to throw their weight behind Haske’s ambition. He described Haske as a young, dynamic employer of labour, noting that his companies already provide jobs to many youths across the country.

Bansi further highlighted Haske’s vast local and international connections, assuring that such networks would be harnessed to attract investment, opportunities, and sustainable development to the state. He concluded by appreciating the traditional ruler of Sheleng and the entire community for their warm hospitality and support.
Also present with the inauguration committee was Alhaji Yerima Dende, an executive of the AB Haske Foundation, described by many as a committed and ambitious young leader who has consistently worked behind the scenes to ensure the success of the Haske project.
With the Sheleng inauguration concluded, observers say the Haske Mobilisation Forum is fast emerging as one of the most vibrant and organised political movements within the APC, steadily building grassroots strength ahead of future political contests.
