The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State has taken a decisive step toward deepening its grassroots strength and modernising its party structure with the official kick-off of its membership e-registration exercise in Ganye Local Government Area.
The historic launch commenced with a comprehensive training programme for selected trainees drawn from Ganye and Toungo Local Government Areas. The trainees, carefully nominated from various wards, were equipped with the technical and organisational skills required to serve as frontline facilitators of the digital registration process in their respective communities.

The training was held at the residence of Walin Ganye, a respected elder statesman and influential stakeholder of the APC in Adamawa State. The choice of venue underscored his enduring commitment to the growth, unity, and institutional strengthening of the party. Over the years, Walin Ganye has remained a stabilising force within the APC, consistently supporting initiatives aimed at expanding party membership and empowering the grassroots.
Participants were taken through hands-on sessions covering digital data capture, ward-level coordination, and best practices to ensure transparency and efficiency throughout the e-registration exercise. Party officials described the training as thorough and timely, noting that it aligns with the APC’s broader vision of embracing technology to enhance internal democracy and party administration.

Speaking after the exercise, the trainees expressed strong enthusiasm and readiness to deploy the knowledge acquired. They pledged to step down the training to their various wards, ensuring that the e-registration process is smooth, inclusive, and successful across Ganye, Toungo, and adjoining areas.
Political observers say the Ganye kick-off signals a new chapter for the APC in Adamawa—one defined by digital innovation, youth participation, and seasoned leadership. With Walin Ganye providing strategic support and a conducive platform for engagement, the party’s e-registration drive is expected to significantly boost membership strength and reinforce its grassroots dominance ahead of future political engagements.
As the APC embraces the digital age, the message from Ganye is unmistakable: the party is positioning itself for a stronger, more organised, and people-driven future in Adamawa State.
