The Walin Ganye, a respected statesman and community leader in Adamawa State, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as the clear vision, courage and determination driving the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, saying the policy framework is already yielding visible and measurable results across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Walin Ganye praised President Tinubu’s leadership, noting that despite initial challenges, the Renewed Hope Agenda has begun to reposition Nigeria on the path of economic recovery, infrastructure renewal and national stability.
According to him, the administration’s bold reforms — particularly in the areas of economic restructuring, infrastructure development, security enhancement and social investment — demonstrate a government committed to long-term national interest rather than short-term political comfort.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda is no longer a promise on paper. Nigerians are beginning to see practical steps that reflect a sincere effort to rebuild the nation, restore investor confidence and improve the welfare of the people,” the Walin Ganye said.
He pointed to several achievements that align squarely with the Renewed Hope Agenda, including the renewed focus on critical infrastructure, such as ongoing federal road projects, rail expansion initiatives, and strategic investments aimed at boosting power supply and transportation networks across the country.
The traditional title holder also highlighted the economic reforms, including the unification of the foreign exchange system and the removal of fuel subsidy, describing them as difficult but necessary decisions taken to stabilize the economy and free up resources for development.
“These reforms are already attracting renewed interest from investors and creating a more transparent economic environment. Though the transition has not been easy, the long-term benefits will outweigh the temporary pains,” he added.
On security, the Walin Ganye noted improvements through increased government attention to intelligence gathering, equipment upgrade and personnel support, stressing that peace remains fundamental to development.
He also applauded the administration’s declaration of a food security emergency, which he said aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda’s commitment to strengthening agriculture, empowering farmers and ensuring food availability for Nigerians.
In the area of human capital development, he praised policies targeting education financing, youth empowerment and social welfare, noting that such initiatives are critical to building a productive and competitive population.
While acknowledging that challenges remain, the Walin Ganye called on Nigerians to exercise patience and continue to support the Tinubu administration, stressing that national transformation requires collective effort and shared responsibility.
“No meaningful change happens overnight. This is a time for unity, constructive engagement and support for policies that are designed to secure a better future for our children and generations yet unborn,” he said.
He urged political leaders, traditional institutions and citizens alike to rise above partisan sentiments and work together to ensure the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Walin Ganye concluded by reaffirming his confidence in President Tinubu’s vision, expressing optimism that with sustained public support, discipline and accountability, Nigeria will emerge stronger, more prosperous and more united.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda represents a collective journey. If we stay the course, Nigeria’s best days are still ahead,” he declared.
