The massive road repair and construction project stretching from the LCCN Junction in Ganye, through Yebbi and Mbulo, and linking Jada Local Government Area, has entered a defining stage — and residents are celebrating what many describe as a long-awaited lifeline for the region.
Heavy-duty bulldozers have now begun the crucial task of tilling and levelling the red laterite soil sourced from the borrow pit, giving the corridor a newly refined, smooth base. This phase, experts say, is essential for ensuring durability ahead of the gravel layering and final oil-tar surfacing that will complete the road.

Local observers and commuters have praised the quality of work and the speed of progress, describing the transformation as one of the most impactful infrastructure interventions in the area in recent years.
Credit for the project has been widely directed toward the APC-led government and the unwavering support of revered elder statesman, Alhaji Sadiq Mohammed, the Walin Ganye. His consistent advocacy and commitment to community development have been hailed as a major driving force behind the realisation of the project.
Residents say the Walin Ganye remains “a rare gift to the Ganye Chiefdom, Adamawa State, and Nigeria at large,” applauding his tireless efforts in securing developmental projects that uplift the lives of ordinary people.
With construction now advancing rapidly, hopes are high that the Ganye–Jada road will soon become a modern, reliable route that boosts commerce, strengthens social ties, and enhances the daily lives of thousands across the region.
