In line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s national drive to tackle unemployment and empower citizens with viable skills, GIMGA Global Concept Limited has emerged as one of the leading forces pushing the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (T-VET) initiative across the country.
Speaking in an exclusive interview in his Yola office, the CEO/Managing Director of GIMGA Global Concept Limited, Alhaji Mohammed Tanimu Abubakar, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to transforming Nigeria’s workforce through world-class skills acquisition and technical training.
“We are an independent, fully certified national company with offices in Abuja and Yola,” he stated confidently. “GIMGA Global Concept is here to stay. We have earned all the credentials required to operate as an accredited T-VET agent under the Federal Government and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).”
Driving the Renewed Hope Agenda Through Skills
Alhaji Tanimu explained that T-VET—Technical and Vocational Education and Training—is a flagship programme under the Tinubu administration aimed at providing skills, jobs, and real economic empowerment for Nigerians of all ages.
“This programme is not only for youths. It is for every Nigerian—men and women—who wants to secure a future through practical, employable skills. Knowledge has no age limit,” he said.
Thanks to GIMGA’s hard work and compliance with federal standards, the company has been licensed to train students across twelve professional trades, with seven fully approved and running, while approval for the remaining five is underway.

He added that GIMGA has already begun documentation, screening, and physical examinations for candidates—ensuring that only qualified, willing, and dedicated learners are selected.
Dedicating the centre’s achievements to Nigeria’s determined young people, Alhaji Tanimu urged them to embrace skills and education passionately.
“I have two Master’s degrees, but certificates alone are not enough. What you do with knowledge is what matters,” he said. “If you fail to plan, you have planned to fail. Skills acquisition is the pathway to a life worth emulating.”
He emphasized that many world-renowned entrepreneurs began with small steps, great ideas, and strong discipline—values GIMGA seeks to instill in its trainees.
International Standard Training, Local Impact
Alhaji Tanimu noted that several Nigerians are trained abroad, especially in Korea, and highlighted the importance of building local capacity to reduce the need for costly overseas training.
“For example, Modibbo Adama University (MAU) partners with one of the Korean-trained facilitators. With the right skills centres here at home, we can save costs and empower more Nigerians.”
He further acknowledged the contributions of patriotic politicians who sponsor youths for vocational training, describing it as a true dividend of democracy.
