“I Have Nothing To Do With Nnamdi Kanu’s Case” — Tompolo Fires Back At Rumour Peddlers, Reaffirms Loyalty To Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

The former Niger Delta militant leader and Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has broken his silence over reports alleging that he issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Tompolo, in a strongly worded statement on Sunday signed by his Media Consultant, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, described the viral report as false, mischievous, and a calculated attempt to tarnish his hard-earned reputation and undermine his ongoing efforts to protect Nigeria’s oil wealth.

> “We wish to state unequivocally that Tompolo did not author the said publication. He has nothing whatsoever to do with the issue of Nnamdi Kanu. This is clearly the handiwork of his enemies seeking to discredit him because of his firm stand against illegal crude oil activities in the Niger Delta,”
the statement declared.

According to Bebenimibo, Tompolo remains fully committed to his national assignment — protecting vital oil infrastructure and eliminating crude oil theft through the operations of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited.

> “Tompolo will not relent in carrying out his duties to completely eradicate illegal oil activities in the Niger Delta. His loyalty and dedication to the nation’s economic stability remain unshaken,”
Bebenimibo added.

Since his company, Tantita Security, was engaged by the Federal Government to curb oil theft, Tompolo has become a key player in restoring sanity to the Niger Delta’s oil corridor — a mission that has drawn widespread commendation from government officials and industry stakeholders.

Reaffirming his unflinching loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda, Tompolo publicly distanced himself from any political movement or agitation, pledging his continued support for the President’s developmental vision.

> “We wish to reassure the Federal Government that Tompolo stands firmly with President Tinubu and fully supports the Renewed Hope Agenda. He remains a patriotic citizen working for peace, unity, and progress,”
the statement read.

The former warlord urged Nigerians, especially the media, to disregard the malicious publication, noting that it was a deliberate ploy by detractors to cause confusion and discredit his integrity.

Tompolo emphasized that those behind the report were threatened by his successful campaign against illegal bunkering and pipeline vandalism, and were desperately seeking to divert public attention from his achievements in the region.

From Agitator to Nation Builder

Once feared as a militant commander, Tompolo has reinvented himself as a national security asset and an agent of economic recovery, partnering with the Federal Government to safeguard Nigeria’s oil lifeline.

His transformation from agitation to advocacy and security partnership continues to serve as a powerful narrative of reconciliation and patriotism in the Niger Delta.

With his latest statement, Tompolo has made it clear that he remains focused on his national duty — defending Nigeria’s oil assets and promoting peace in the Niger Delta — not engaging in political distractions or propaganda.
