GOMBI — The serene town of Gombi was thrown into mourning in the early hours of Thursday, October 2, 2025, following the passing of Hajiya Aisha Abubakar Dallol, a highly respected community matriarch, at the age of 76.
Late Hajiya Aisha, revered for her kindness, humility, and deep devotion to family and faith, is survived by ten children and numerous grandchildren who continue her legacy of compassion and service.
Her funeral, held in Gombi town, drew thousands of mourners, including family, friends, religious leaders, and community members who gathered to pay their last respects and pray for the peaceful repose of her gentle soul.
Among her prominent children is Mr. Mutawalli Abubakar, a dedicated security officer with First Bank, Gombi Branch, whose presence at the burial highlighted the family’s deep ties to the community.
Hajiya Aisha was laid to rest in Gombi according to Islamic rites, with an outpouring of emotion from those who described her as a pillar of strength and a beacon of hope.
Her death marks the end of an era for many in Gombi, who fondly remember her as a mother to all, a voice of wisdom, and a woman of unwavering faith.
