Sahara reporters has taken to its official X handle and announced that, In a development that has left the Nigeria Police Force red-faced, an official vehicle attached to its Department of Operations has been stolen right from the heavily guarded premises of Force Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja.
The missing vehicle, a Toyota Buffalo Land Cruiser with chassis number JTELU71JX0B027126 and registration number NPF 5594 D, was reported stolen on July 28, 2025, sparking an urgent nationwide alert.
According to an internal wireless signal, relayed by the Katsina Command from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), the SUV mysteriously disappeared from the official parking lot, despite the round-the-clock security presence at the police headquarters.
