Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Bridget Taylor Mbi of Lamurde Local Government Area, Adamawa State, on her prestigious elevation to the rank of Deputy Commandant-General (DCG) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the Governor hailed Ms. Mbi’s promotion as “a shining testament to competence, professionalism, and years of unalloyed dedication to national service.”
Governor Fintiri noted that her new role does not only stand as a personal milestone but also resonates as a collective victory for the people of Adamawa State, showcasing the state’s growing contribution to national leadership in security and governance.
“Your elevation is a recognition of your steadfast commitment to duty, integrity, and excellence. It is also an inspiration to young women across the state and the country, proving that hard work and patriotism are always rewarded,” the Governor stated.
He expressed full confidence that Ms. Mbi will bring unmatched diligence, loyalty, and innovation into her new responsibilities. He further prayed for wisdom, courage, and strength as she undertakes this noble assignment at a critical time for Nigeria’s security architecture.
Governor Fintiri urged her to continue being a shining ambassador of Adamawa State and a symbol of hope for the next generation of leaders.
