LAGOS — Nigeria may soon be shaken by a wave of protests unlike anything in its recent history, according to fiery prophecies from Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.
Speaking during a live service in Lagos — later streamed on YouTube — the cleric declared that a divinely sanctioned season of agitation is about to erupt, one that could alter the nation’s political direction and overwhelm its leaders.
> “They will get tired, and they can’t fight this noise because it is an authority,” Ayodele proclaimed before a charged congregation.
Unlike ordinary demonstrations that fizzle out with time, the prophet said this coming movement will carry what he described as “a spiritual force no government action can suppress.” He stressed that attempts to crush it with strategy, power, or force will end in futility, as the agitation is not born of politics but of divine authority.
Ayodele warned leaders that what is coming should not be mistaken for a political rally or partisan mobilization. Instead, he called it a “spiritually orchestrated movement” that will gather momentum, sustain itself, and resist every effort to weaken it.
> “This is not the voice of mere protest. It carries the weight of God’s approval. Leaders will realize too late that it is beyond their control,” he said.
The cleric tied the looming unrest to the growing frustrations of ordinary Nigerians battered by worsening hardship — inflation, unemployment, insecurity, and what he described as a glaring lack of empathy from those in power.
A Stern Warning to Leaders
Ayodele cautioned the government against ignoring the cries of the people, warning that neglect could plunge the nation into deeper unrest.
He urged urgent intervention in tackling insecurity, hunger, and joblessness, stressing that history has shown that when the people rise with divine backing, no earthly power can silence them.
> “The voice of the people is the voice of God. To ignore it is to invite judgment,” he declared.
Over the years, Primate Ayodele has earned a reputation for bold and controversial prophecies on national and global affairs. His latest prediction, however, is sending shockwaves through political and religious circles, as Nigerians brace themselves for what he insists will be an unstoppable storm of resistance.
