The long-awaited road project linking LCCN Junction in Ganye town through Yebbi Mbulo to Jada has entered a new phase of action, with heavy machinery steadily arriving at the site and rekindling the hopes of residents.
Two days ago, Pioneer Newspaper captured the dramatic return of the project when the first grader arrived, immediately swinging into action by clearing and leveling the yard designated for parking construction trucks and equipment.

Yesterday evening, the tempo intensified as bulldozers and additional graders rumbled into Ganye, signaling not just a continuation but a reinforcement of the contractors’ commitment to completing the project. Reliable sources further revealed that more equipment is expected to arrive in the coming days, cementing confidence in the work’s sustainability.
The resurgence of activity has been credited to the unwavering influence and push from respected stakeholders, including the Walin Ganye, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, and Hon. Bichi, whose intervention has ensured the contractors remain focused and fully mobilized.
This visible progress has swiftly silenced the voices of opposition who had mocked the project as a “political hoax” orchestrated by the APC-led Federal Government. Their criticism—that the road would never take off—has now been buried under the roar of bulldozers carving through the soil.
For the people of Ganye and its neighboring communities, this project is far more than asphalt and gravel. It represents hope restored, opportunities revived, and long-awaited inclusion in the national development map.

Unlike the PDP-led administration in Adamawa State under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, which has faced backlash for neglecting Ganye in terms of tangible projects, the APC government is stamping its presence with real action, not rhetoric.
As the machines multiply and the work progresses, the people of Ganye are witnessing the dawn of a new reality—where promises are finally being turned into enduring infrastructure.
Ganye is on the move, and this time, nothing can stop the bulldozers.
