BREAKING: Anambra Police Nab Man Running Secret Marijuana Farm While Pretending to Be Mentally Ill

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 43-year-old man, Patrick Ojele, who allegedly masterminded a secret marijuana farm in Awka under the guise of being mentally unstable.

According to police sources, Ojele had been disguising himself as a mentally challenged individual to avoid suspicion while carefully tending to the hidden cannabis farm for over two years. His cover was blown following intelligence reports that alerted security operatives to his illicit activities.

Police operatives stormed the location and uncovered a well-nurtured cultivation site believed to have supplied cannabis to criminal elements within the state. Ojele, who initially feigned madness during his arrest, was swiftly subdued and taken into custody.

The Anambra State Police Command confirmed that investigations are ongoing to trace his network and possible collaborators, stressing that the arrest sends a strong warning to others engaged in the illegal drug trade.

Authorities assured residents that the command remains resolute in its fight against illicit drug activities, criminality, and all acts threatening public peace in the state.
