GANYE, ADAMAWA STATE – The much-talked-about road construction project linking LCCN Junction in Ganye town to Yebbi, Mbulo, and Jada has resumed in full swing, dispelling opposition propaganda and exposing the PDP’s web of deceit. The All Progressives Congress (APC), through the North East Development Commission (NEDC) and the influence of men of integrity such as Walin Ganye, Nuhu Ribadu, and Hon. Bichi, has once again proven that it delivers where the PDP failed.

For years, residents of Ganye and its environs cried out over the deplorable state of this strategic road. Yet under the PDP-led government of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, nothing was done. Ironically, it was only during the build-up to the recent Ganye State Constituency bye-election that the governor, who could not win Ganye during the general elections, attempted to feign concern. But the people knew better—real action was not coming from Yola, but from Abuja under APC’s watch.
When contractors temporarily halted work due to a dispute with a hired equipment company—which led to the withdrawal of some graders and bulldozers—the PDP and its online puppets rushed to social media with their usual propaganda. They claimed the APC had “deceived” the people, alleging that the project was abandoned after elections.

But facts, as always, are stubborn things. A thorough investigation by the Pioneer Newspaper revealed the truth: there was no cancellation of contract, no abandonment, and no deceit—just a brief contractual misunderstanding over hired machines.
Today, Ganye is witnessing the return of brand-new graders and bulldozers, roaring back to life with full-scale operations. One bulldozer has already started grading the contractor’s yard, preparing it for daily use by workers and heavy trucks. The sight of these machines has silenced the opposition’s premature celebration and proven APC’s commitment to development.
The people of Ganye have now seen the difference between empty promises and real action. While the PDP could not repair the road in years of governance, APC has taken decisive steps to ensure that this vital project becomes a reality. The victory of APC in the recent bye-election only further underscores the people’s trust, showing that no amount of propaganda can overshadow tangible progress.
At the heart of this progress stands elder statesman Walin Ganye, whose unwavering integrity, influence, and commitment have been instrumental in seeing this project through. Alongside Nuhu Ribadu and Hon. Bichi, he has ensured that the people of Ganye Chiefdom are not left behind in the wave of development sweeping across Nigeria.
Walin Ganye’s selfless service to his people remains a shining example of leadership rooted in truth, honour, and sacrifice. For Ganye, he is not just a voice of reason—he is the guardian of progress.
And today, as bulldozers return to work and the dust of development rises again, the people can proudly say: With APC and with Walin Ganye, this road is not a dream—it is a reality in motion.
