The WALIN Ganye, Alhaji Mohammed Sadiq, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across Adamawa State, Nigeria, and the world on the auspicious occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In his message, the revered traditional titleholder and elder statesman described the celebration as a period of deep reflection on the life, teachings, and sacrifices of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), urging Muslims to uphold the virtues of peace, tolerance, humility, and compassion in their daily lives.
Alhaji Sadiq emphasized that the Prophet’s exemplary character remains a guiding light for humanity, especially in times of moral decline, insecurity, and social challenges. He called on leaders and citizens alike to imbibe the spirit of justice, fairness, and service to humanity, which the Prophet epitomized.
“Eid-El-Maulud is not only a celebration but a call to action,” WALIN Ganye declared. “It is a time for Muslims to renew their covenant with Allah, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and work collectively towards peace and development in our communities and the nation at large.”
While praying for Allah’s blessings, mercy, and protection upon the Muslim faithful, WALIN Ganye urged Nigerians to foster unity across religious and ethnic lines, stressing that peace and stability remain the strongest foundations for prosperity.
He also extended warm greetings to the Lamido Adamawa, His Royal Highness Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, His Royal Highness the Gangwari of Ganye Alh. Umaru Adamusanda, (OON, FIMN)and the entire Muslim ummah, praying that the celebration brings enduring peace, divine guidance, and national progress.
