The Nation online news has announced that, KAFIN HAUSA, JIGAWA — Hundreds of enthusiastic youths on Sunday thronged Kafin Hausa town, headquarters of Kafin Hausa Local Government Area in Jigawa State, in a show of solidarity for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The political rally, which turned into a carnival-like celebration, was convened by an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and former Special Assistant to the Jigawa State Governor on Health, Zakari Sidi Kafin Hausa.
The gathering also coincided with a community event held to honour Zakari Sidi for his commitment to grassroots development, infrastructural upliftment, and his contributions to the progress of Kafin Hausa and its people.
Addressing the jubilant crowd, Hausa declared that the rally was both a thanksgiving for the honour bestowed upon him and a declaration of total support for Tinubu’s second-term bid.
> “Nigeria is fortunate to have President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at this critical moment when the nation needs courage, vision, and tested leadership. He has demonstrated boldness, experience, and popularity — qualities that are already driving positive economic and infrastructural transformation,” Hausa stated.
He listed President Tinubu’s reforms, including his push for full local government autonomy, the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), and several youth-oriented economic empowerment projects, as policies that have already begun reshaping the nation.
According to him, Tinubu’s reforms are gradually laying the foundation for a more prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.
Expressing gratitude for the recognition bestowed on him by his community, Hausa said:
> “This honour is beyond words. Looking at the calibre of people who organized and attended this event despite their busy schedules, I feel deeply encouraged. This is a huge motivation for me, and by the grace of Almighty God, I will continue to do more for Kafin Hausa and Jigawa State at large.”
The event was marked by speeches, cultural displays, and chants of solidarity, as the youths reaffirmed their readiness to mobilize support for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.
