Teenage Girl Reported Missing in Yola — Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Information

The Adamawa State Police Command has raised an alarm over the sudden disappearance of a 19-year-old girl, sparking concern among residents of Yola North Local Government Area.

The missing teenager, identified as Favour Fredrick, resides in Karewa, behind the Police Barracks, Yola North. According to the Police, she was last seen on Thursday, August 29, 2025, around 6:00 PM. At the time of her disappearance, she was dressed in black and white trousers, a black and white shirt, and a black veil. Since then, her whereabouts have remained unknown.
In a statement issued by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Police appealed to members of the public to provide any useful information that could assist in tracing the missing teenager.

> “We urge anyone with credible information on her whereabouts to immediately report to the nearest Police Station or contact the Command via 08065687920,” Nguroje stated.

The report of the missing girl has sent waves of anxiety through her community, with family, friends, and neighbors intensifying the search.

Authorities are calling for heightened vigilance and community support to ensure Favour’s safe return.
