In a bid to ensure a smooth and transparent process in the ongoing Ganye Local Government Constituency State House of Assembly bye-election, top All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders have stormed various polling units to monitor proceedings and rally support for the party.
Leading the charge was the APC Southern Zone Chairman, Alhaji Hammanjoda Umar Farang, who was accompanied by Rev. Habila M. Istifanus Katukan Gangwari Ganye and other key party stalwarts. The delegation toured communities across the constituency, engaging with voters and interacting with electoral officials to assess the credibility of the exercise.

According to Farang, the monitoring tour was not only to show solidarity with party faithful but also to ensure that any challenges encountered during the process are promptly addressed. He maintained that the APC remains confident of securing victory, given the massive turnout of supporters and the party’s strong grassroots presence in Ganye.

Rev. Habila, a respected community leader and influential political figure who recently defected to the APC, echoed the same optimism, assuring that the party’s wide acceptance in the area will reflect in the final outcome of the polls.
The atmosphere across polling units visited was reported to be calm, with voters turning out in impressive numbers to exercise their franchise. APC stakeholders expressed satisfaction with the orderly conduct of the electorate, describing it as a clear signal of democracy taking deep root in Ganye.
As counting and collation continue, the APC camp is beaming with confidence, projecting a landslide victory in the closely watched bye-election.
