In a heartwarming celebration of love and tradition, Yusuf Modibbo (popularly known as Nuru) and Hafsat Aminu (affectionately called Fadeela) tied the knot on Friday, June 27, 2025, in a grand wedding Fatiha ceremony held at the iconic Girei Central Mosque in Adamawa State.

The union, steeped in culture and blessed by spirituality, drew an impressive crowd of family, friends, and well-wishers who came from near and far to witness the sacred rites of matrimony. The solemnization was gracefully conducted by the revered Chief Imam of Girei Central Mosque, Malam Abubakar Halilu Girei, who officiated the ceremony with deep spiritual reverence.
During the formal rites, the groom, Yusuf Modibbo, fulfilled the Islamic marital obligation by presenting a dowry of ₦180,000 (One Hundred and Eighty Thousand Naira), a gesture symbolizing respect, commitment, and love for his bride.
The atmosphere was charged with joy and blessings as prayers were offered for a blissful, prosperous, and enduring marriage. Elders, peers, and religious leaders alike showered the couple with heartfelt duas, expressing hope that their union would be filled with harmony, patience, and divine favour.

The Girei community came alive with colours, laughter, and celebration, as guests took part in post-ceremony festivities that echoed the significance of the occasion—a beautiful reminder of the strength and sanctity of traditional marriage.
As Yusuf and Hafsat begin this new chapter together, their story stands as a testament to love, faith, and the beauty of coming together in the bond of holy matrimony.
