Renowned security analyst and counterinsurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, has reported a tragic road crash that claimed multiple lives on the Katsina–Dutsinma highway on Saturday.
Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Makama revealed that a fatal accident involving a private Toyota Camry occurred when the vehicle lost control, somersaulted multiple times, and instantly erupted into flames.
In a heart-wrenching twist, all the occupants of the car were reportedly trapped inside and burned beyond recognition. The exact number of victims could not be immediately ascertained due to the severity of the inferno.
Eyewitnesses at the scene described the aftermath as “horrific,” with rescue efforts rendered futile by the intensity of the fire. The cause of the accident remains unknown as of press time, but authorities are expected to conduct a full investigation.
