YOLA — The Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Post Primary Schools Management Board, Mr. Birsan Fenuel, has assured the prompt posting of newly transferred staff, stating that all necessary arrangements have been finalized.

Speaking at the board’s headquarters in Yola earlier this week, Mr. Fenuel disclosed that while the board recommended the transfer of over 1,000 staff members, less than 400 were officially approved. He, however, revealed that efforts are ongoing to secure additional approvals to accommodate more personnel.

“We are actively engaging relevant authorities to ensure the remaining recommendations are approved,” the Executive Secretary said. “Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of our schools with qualified and dedicated staff.”

He called on the newly transferred staff to remain calm and patient, assuring them that their postings will be released in the shortest possible time. “We understand your eagerness to begin work, and I assure you that your deployment is imminent,” he added.

Mr. Fenuel also seized the moment to applaud Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his unwavering commitment to revitalizing the education sector in Adamawa State.

“We are proud of the giant strides the Fintiri administration has made in education. From infrastructural upgrades to policy reforms, the governor has demonstrated that education remains a top priority,” he noted.

The Executive Secretary concluded by urging the public to continue supporting the current administration’s efforts to transform the education system, emphasizing that collective effort is key to sustained development in the sector.
