“Tinubu Fires Warning Shot From France: End Insecurity Now – No Excuses, No Delays”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued a bold and uncompromising order to Nigeria’s Armed Forces and security agencies: stamp out insecurity decisively and without delay.

Amid a troubling resurgence of terrorist attacks and violent assaults by armed herdsmen across the country, Tinubu, currently in France, delivered his stern directive through a powerful Easter message on Friday.

The President, visibly shaken by the growing spate of violence, said the killings and bloodshed must end—immediately.

> “The recent tragic incidents and the loss of lives in some parts of our country deeply saddened me. I understand the pain and fear these incidents have caused,” Tinubu stated.

From remote communities in Plateau and Borno to the heartland of Benue, Enugu, and beyond, citizens continue to face the horror of unchecked brutality. Tinubu acknowledged the heavy toll the violence has taken on families and communities but reassured the nation that under his leadership, peace will be non-negotiable.

> “Let me assure you that my administration’s resolve to restore peace and security remains unshakable. The forces of evil will never prevail over our country.”

The President revealed that he has issued clear and firm instructions to the military and all relevant security agencies to act swiftly and decisively to neutralize threats and restore normalcy nationwide.

> “With the unwavering courage and commitment of our gallant men and women in uniform, we are turning the tide and making steady progress in reclaiming peace and stability,” Tinubu declared confidently.

Beyond the battlefield, the President linked his remarks to the broader vision of his administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda—a call for resilience and unity in the face of adversity.

Acknowledging the severe economic challenges that have gripped the country, Tinubu expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their enduring patience and hinted at green shoots of economic recovery.

> “We are also grateful to all Nigerians for your patience and resilience as our economy begins to show encouraging signs of recovery. We are working tirelessly to restore investor confidence, stabilise key sectors, and build an inclusive economy that serves the interests of all Nigerians.”

While assuring citizens of improved security and economic revival, Tinubu issued a rallying cry for national solidarity.

> “I urge all Nigerians to remain hopeful, united, and resolute in pursuing national progress. The task before us is enormous, but together, with faith and determination, there is no obstacle we cannot overcome. Our unity and resilience are our greatest strengths.”

Tinubu’s message comes at a time when many Nigerians are questioning the effectiveness of security operations amid sustained and often gruesome attacks. The President’s strong words now place the burden of action squarely on the shoulders of the nation’s security chiefs. Whether this latest directive will finally stem the tide of violence remains to be seen—but one thing is clear: the Commander-in-Chief has drawn a line in the sand.
