A wave of panic and grief has engulfed the Delta Steel Company (DSC) township in Oruhworun, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, following the shocking discovery of three sisters found lifeless in their father’s home. The tragic incident, which has left residents in disbelief, occurred on Monday, just hours after the victims returned from a birthday party.
SaharaReporters gathered that the sisters, aged between 14 and 30, were discovered foaming at the mouth, raising immediate suspicions of foul play. According to sources, the deceased occasionally visited their father and stepmother but did not permanently reside with them. Their deaths come at a time when the family was still reeling from the loss of their biological mother, who passed away less than a year ago.
Speculation has been rife within the community, particularly concerning the father’s remarriage to a woman said to have been a close friend of the late mother. “The stepmother was one of the late woman’s trusted confidantes before she passed. This situation is beyond tragic,” a source disclosed.
Authorities have wasted no time in launching an investigation. The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of both the father and stepmother in connection with the mysterious deaths.
