Fierce Resistance: Troops Repel Boko Haram Attack on Military Base in Adamawa

In a display of tactical superiority and resilience, troops of the Joint Task Force successfully repelled a daring Boko Haram attack on a military base in Waga Village, Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Intelligence sources revealed to Zagazola Makama that the brazen assault occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Friday when suspected terrorists, under the cover of darkness, launched a coordinated offensive on the military facility. However, the gallant troops swiftly engaged the insurgents in a fierce gun battle, forcing them to retreat in disarray.

The sources further disclosed that the soldiers maintained control of the base, neutralizing the enemy’s advances without sustaining any casualties. Civilians in the community were also unharmed, and normalcy has since been restored.

This latest encounter underscores the unwavering determination of security forces in the fight against terrorism, reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding the region from insurgent threats.
