The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has officially announced that the airlift of Nigerian pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj will commence on May 5, 2025.
In a statement shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, NAHCON assured intending pilgrims that all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure a seamless and spiritually fulfilling journey.
The commission emphasized its commitment to efficient logistics, safety measures, and enhanced welfare for pilgrims throughout the Hajj exercise. NAHCON further urged all registered pilgrims to remain updated on travel schedules, visa processing, and other vital information through official channels to avoid misinformation.
With the annual pilgrimage being a deeply significant religious obligation for Muslims worldwide, the announcement sets the stage for one of Nigeria’s largest faith-based gatherings, as thousands prepare to embark on the sacred journey to Mecca.
