TikToker ‘SeaKing’ Slams Nigerian Police: “Use Cyberbullying Tools to Track Kidnappers, Not Critics”

Nigerian TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as “SeaKing,” has called out the Nigeria Police Force, urging them to focus their advanced cyber-tracking capabilities on apprehending kidnappers rather than targeting critics and online dissenters.

His remarks follow the harrowing abduction of Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, the National President of the Afenifere Youth Council, who is currently being held hostage by gunmen demanding a ₦100 million ransom.

In a video shared on his TikTok page and obtained by SaharaReporters, SeaKing strongly criticized the police for prioritizing cyberbullying cases while kidnappers openly flaunt their crimes online without consequence.

“Kidnappers Are the Real Cyberbullies”

Lamenting the situation, SeaKing stated:

> “This is one of our Yoruba youth leaders, kidnapped and pleading for his life. Nigerian Police, these are the real cyberbullies! Why do you spend so much time tracking down people accused of cyberbullying or speaking against authorities while criminals boldly share their atrocities online?”

“You’re quick to track down someone for ‘insulting’ the IGP or government officials, but when kidnappers post videos online, you suddenly lose your tracking skills? These are the real threats to society! If you can monitor critics with your sophisticated tools, then use the same technology to track and arrest kidnappers.”

Meanwhile, a chilling video obtained by SaharaReporters shows Ojajuni held at gunpoint, an AK-47 pressed against his chest as he begs for help. The abductors have threatened to execute him if the ₦100 million ransom is not paid by 3 p.m. today (Monday).

With fear and exhaustion evident on his face, Ojajuni made a heartfelt appeal:

> “Nigerians, please help me! Whatever you can contribute—₦100,000, ₦50,000, even ₦1 million—can save my life. My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me share this video.”

As outrage grows, Nigerians are demanding swift action from security agencies, echoing SeaKing’s sentiments that the police should channel their resources toward dismantling criminal networks rather than suppressing online critics.

With Ojajuni’s life hanging in the balance, will the authorities finally step up and bring his abductors to justice, or will this be another tragic case of negligence in Nigeria’s failing security system?
