Tragic Betrayal: Kidnappers Withdraw ₦100 Million from Slain Anambra Lawmaker’s Account Before Executing Him—Activist Chude Nnamdi

In a chilling revelation, Sahara Reporters has disclose via their X handle that the human rights activist and social media influencer Chude Nnamdi has disclosed that the kidnappers who abducted Hon. Justice Azuka, a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, withdrew a staggering ₦100 million from his bank account before brutally executing him.

Nnamdi, who made the disclosure via his verified social media page on Friday, stated that the gang, consisting of six kidnappers, orchestrated the withdrawal with the help of a nurse based in Asaba, Delta State. The activist further revealed that the entire syndicate—including the kidnappers, their native doctor who allegedly fortified them with charms, and the nurse—have all been apprehended by security operatives.

According to Nnamdi, the gang’s operations were deeply entrenched in ritualistic practices, with their leader residing in a shrine alongside the native doctor in Asaba. Their modus operandi, he claimed, involved executing their victims after extracting ransom payments.

“The kidnappers that killed Hon. Justice Azuka collected ₦100 million from his account before killing him on December 26, 2024,” Nnamdi wrote. “They shot him twice in the head. A nurse in Asaba facilitated the withdrawal of the money, and the native doctor prepared charms for them.”

He further detailed that the gang was responsible for multiple murders, with over three decomposing bodies discovered near the Second Niger Bridge, where the remains of Hon. Justice Azuka were also found.

“All six kidnappers have been arrested. None of them is above 30 years old. The nurse has been arrested, and her pharmacy sealed. The native doctor has also been apprehended,” he added.

Nnamdi’s shocking expose painted a grim picture of organized crime within the region. He claimed that all but one of the suspects were residing in Asaba, with the remaining individual living in Oba.

“They said they normally kill all their victims. Once they collect money from you, they eliminate you,” he stated.

Despite the gravity of the allegations, attempts to confirm Nnamdi’s claims with law enforcement authorities proved futile. The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, did not respond to calls or messages at the time of filing this report.

The revelation has sent shockwaves across the state, with many calling for urgent security reforms to curb the growing menace of abductions and ritual killings. The apprehension of the suspects is seen as a crucial step toward dismantling criminal networks terrorizing the region.

As the investigation unfolds, the public awaits an official statement from security agencies, hoping for justice for Hon. Justice Azuka and other victims who met a similar tragic fate.
