Heavy Deployment, Tactical Operations, and Security Reinforcement in Place
The Adamawa State Police Command has announced a robust security strategy ahead of the coronation of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu, the Emir of Fufore. In a press statement released via its official X handle, the command assured the public of a watertight security framework before, during, and after the historic event.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, PSC (+), has deployed the command’s full operational assets in collaboration with sister security agencies to guarantee a peaceful and seamless coronation.
To maintain order and safeguard attendees, the CP has instructed the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, and the supervising Area Commander of Karewa to oversee and coordinate security operations at all key locations where dignitaries, traditional rulers, and government officials will be hosted.
Additionally, the Anti-Bomb Squad has been deployed to sweep and secure the coronation venue, ensuring no security threats compromise the safety of attendees. Tactical teams and specialized patrol units have also been positioned along major highways to deter criminal activities and prevent disruptions.

Yola International Airport – To monitor and secure the arrival of VIPs.
Strategic Junctions and Access Roads – To ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent congestion around the Emir’s palace and surrounding areas.
Government Establishments & Residential Areas – DPOs have been instructed to reinforce security across critical locations to prevent any potential threats.
