The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the commencement dates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) registrations.
In a statement released via its official X handle, JAMB disclosed that UTME registration will commence on January 31, 2025, and close on March 8, 2025. Prospective candidates are required to complete their registration exclusively at JAMB-accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
Similarly, registration for Direct Entry (DE) candidates will begin on March 10, 2025, and conclude on April 7, 2025. However, unlike the UTME process, DE registration will be strictly conducted at JAMB’s State and Zonal Offices, ensuring a more structured and monitored process for applicants seeking direct admission into universities.
JAMB reiterated the importance of adhering to the specified guidelines and deadlines, warning candidates against engaging with fraudulent registration centres. The board also urged applicants to stay updated with official announcements and ensure compliance with all requirements to avoid disqualification.
With these timelines now set, prospective candidates are advised to begin their preparations early to ensure a smooth registration process.
