Yola, Adamawa State – The Adamawa State Police Command has successfully apprehended two suspects in connection with a series of store and house-breaking incidents that have plagued the region.
In a statement released on its official X handle on January 22, 2025, the Command confirmed the arrest of Musa Isah, 24, of Doubeli Chochi Street, and Abdullah Tanimu, 18, of Luggere Jimeta. The duo, who are notorious for their involvement in burglaries and thefts, were apprehended following their latest operation in the early hours of January 22.

According to the police, the suspects broke into the shop of Tijay Zirah, located in Luggere, around 3 a.m., making away with valuable items. Acting swiftly on credible intelligence, law enforcement officers tracked down and arrested the suspects. Stolen items have since been recovered, though details of the recovered goods remain undisclosed pending the conclusion of investigations.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Adamawa State Command assured the public that a thorough investigation is ongoing. Upon its conclusion, the suspects will face prosecution and be brought to justice for their actions.
