In a resounding victory against crime, the Adamawa State Police Command has once again demonstrated its dedication to safeguarding lives and property. The command announced the recovery of a stolen vehicle and the arrest of two prime suspects, showcasing its commitment to ensuring justice prevails.
According to a press release shared on the command’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the breakthrough stemmed from a meticulous investigation that began on December 23, 2024. The operation was launched following a complaint by Mr. Aliyu Umar, a resident of Wuro Hausa in Yola South Local Government Area, whose Toyota RAV4, bearing registration number RSH 548 BB, had been stolen.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+), immediately deployed a team of detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Yola, SP Habib Muhammed Musa. Their efforts culminated in the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of the stolen vehicle, reaffirming the force’s zero-tolerance policy towards crime.
The Suspects
The suspects currently in custody and aiding further investigations are:
1. Yusuf Mohd Isah, 25, a resident of Wuro Hausa, Yola South LGA.
2. Faisal Mahmud, 30, a resident of Kolere Ward, Mubi North LGA.
