Renowned security analyst and counterinsurgency expert Zagazola Makama has raised alarm over a new sinister plan by notorious bandit kingpin, Bello Turji. Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Makama disclosed that Turji has ordered his men to ambush troops of Operation Fansan Yanma along the Issah axis in Sokoto State.
In his post, Makama revealed critical intelligence reports confirming the plot, which underscores Turji’s relentless efforts to destabilize military operations aimed at dismantling his criminal empire.
“Turji is notorious for employing guerrilla-style tactics, and this latest ambush directive is a calculated attempt to thwart the Nigerian military’s offensives against him and his network of outlaws,” an anonymous security source stated.
