Caleb bags Prestigious Award, Contend With Harvests Of Solidarity Visits.

The Shettima Batta, Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara has been awarded the prestigious tittle of Emminent Ambassador of Women Effect Initiative International (WEII) by the Adamawa chapter of the Women’s Organization in recognition of his services to humanity and regional development.


Performing the Investiture ceremony in Yola, the Adamawa State Capital, the State Coordinator of the Organization, Hajiya Halima Umar Jongur said that the organization has observed with keen interest the human development efforts of Chief Caleb Andrew particularly directed towards Women capacity enhancement while serving in the Banking industry, emphasizing that the decision to award him the tittle was deliberate considering his towering achievements in socio-economic development of the nation.
She argued that his antecedents have given the public every assurance that the Emminent Ambassador has developed the skills and capacity to serve the State and the nation in whatever capacity and assured him of their support anytime he publicly declares his intention to serve the State in any special capacity.


Responding, Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara expressed gratitude to the women’s organization for such recognition and prestigious award and promised to jump at any opportunity to do more.
According to him, if he has the opportunity to serve as the governor of Adamawa State, he will replicate the thirty-five percent affirmative action in his government to give women the opportunity to participate in governance.
He assured them of his support to the organization and expressed confidence in the capacity and ability of women to stimulate development and societal growth.
As a mark of appreciation and support for the organization, Chief Caleb supported the organization with the sum of 500000NGN.
It was a harvest of visits as communities and groups from the length and breath of the State graced the Residence of the Demsa born philanthropist to show their solidarity and support to the aspirations of the traditional tittle holder from Batta Kingdom.
The latest on the solidarity list are, the Yorro Women Association comprising, Yandang and Mumuye ethnic groups from Mayo Belwa, Jada, Ganye and Toungo local governments of the state as well as the Sarkin Jukun in the state, Chief Ishaku Isaac Amoga accompanied by his council members.
