Adamawa State Police Command Salutes Governor Fintiri’s Security Legacy on His 57th Birthday

Date: 27th October 2024

In a heartfelt tribute to Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his 57th birthday, the Adamawa State Police Command, led by Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, PSC (+), has extended its warmest congratulations and appreciation to the “Police-Friendly Governor.” The Command took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to publicly recognize the Governor’s impactful role in maintaining peace and security throughout the state.

CP Dankombo Morris praised Governor Fintiri’s commitment to making Adamawa State a safer and more prosperous place for residents and businesses alike. “As the Chief Security Officer of Adamawa, Governor Fintiri has been instrumental in transforming the security landscape,” CP Morris noted. “His efforts have led to the reduction of violent crimes such as kidnapping, armed robbery, and the notorious ‘Shilla’ gangsterism that once plagued our communities.”

Through a robust partnership with the Governor’s office, the Command has made strides in creating an environment conducive to development and investment, helping to drive economic growth across Adamawa State. The Commissioner emphasized that these achievements would not have been possible without Governor Fintiri’s steadfast commitment and substantial contributions to the state’s law enforcement logistics and support infrastructure.

“The Governor has not only provided critical resources that enhance police operations but has also championed policies that foster a crime-free environment in Adamawa,” said CP Morris. “This year, we celebrate not just his birthday but his visionary leadership, which has made Adamawa a beacon of safety and security in Nigeria.”

As Governor Fintiri embarks on another year, the Adamawa State Police Command extends its prayers for continued blessings, success, and strength in his service to the state and its people.
