In a surprising show of bipartisan praise, Honourable Aminu Swawale, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and an executive member in Demsa Local Government, has lauded the remarkable achievements of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in Adamawa State. Speaking to journalists in Yola, the state capital, Swawale highlighted the governor’s visionary approach and the tangible progress seen across the state.
Swawale expressed his admiration for Governor Fintiri’s developmental strides, noting the extensive infrastructural projects that are reshaping the state. “Despite being from the opposition party, it is important to recognize and appreciate the achievements and capital development Governor Fintiri has brought to Adamawa,” he said.
The APC leader specifically commended the governor’s decisive action in enhancing security across the state. “Governor Fintiri has taken significant preventive measures to address the issues of insecurity, especially in curbing the menace of Shila boys, kidnapping, and resolving the recurring farmer-herder clashes,” Swawale remarked, underscoring the governor’s hands-on approach to keeping the peace.
Turning his attention to the broader challenges facing the nation, Swawale reflected on the hardships currently experienced by Nigerians. He referenced President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent address on October 1st, in which the president urged citizens to remain patient as the government works to implement difficult but necessary policies. “The president has assured us that, by the grace of God, these efforts will bear fruit and improve the lives of Nigerians,” Swawale said.
In conclusion, Honourable Swawale used the opportunity to urge fellow politicians to abandon the practice of exploiting Nigerian youths only during election periods. He called for unity and prayers, asking citizens to support their leaders and pray for wisdom as they strive to steer the nation towards greater heights.
“Politicians must stop using and discarding our youths after winning elections. We must pray for our leaders, asking God to grant them the wisdom to lead Nigeria to a brighter future,” Swawale concluded.
