President Tinubu Appoints Governing Board for the North West Development Commission, Paving the Way for Regional Transformation

In a decisive move towards fostering regional growth and development, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially appointed the inaugural Governing Board of the North West Development Commission (NWDC). The President’s nominations, outlined in a recent State House Press Release, have been submitted to the Senate for confirmation, marking a key step in operationalizing the Commission.

The NWDC was formally established following President Tinubu’s signing of the North West Development Commission Bill into law on July 24, 2024. This milestone is set to usher in a new era of economic empowerment, infrastructure development, and social progress in the North-West region of Nigeria.
